Winter on the right track with Teddy Bear Pools & Spas!

Winter can be hard for a pool. Algae and other problems, can even begin to cold weather, which produced the opening expensive and complicated. Avoiding these problems now in preparation for winter pool and proper use Teddy Bear Pool and Spa Fencing products. Teddy Bear products are designed to keep your pool water clean and clear throughout the winter.

Good preparation for the winter also protects pool surfaces and equipment, and spring starts quickly and easily. Remember, a good preparation for the winter means more than the addition of products. Follow these steps to make sure your pool is well protected during the cold months.

1. Balance water of the pool.
Take a sample of your pool water for Pools and Spas Teddy Bear for expert advice on water balance. If necessary, adjust pH to 7.4 to 7,6 and verify that the balance of other factors that are in their proper range to avoid damage to the lining of the pool. (Note: If your pool is chlorine based, ask your Teddy Bear laboratory staff on the guidelines of closing itself).

2. Winter Cleaning
Brush every pool walls and bottom and drain if necessary. Clean along the waterline and the area around the pool with a pool surface cleaner appropriate. Also clean the skimmer and hair and lint trap. Backwash filter and use a strip of filter Bear Cleaner to remove oils and grease and ensure the smooth operation for next season.

3. Add Teddy Bear seal kit
Teddy Bear Pools & Spas offers 2 different kits for closure. Kit 1 for the winter up to 15,000 gallons, Kit of 2 swimming pools for the winter up to 30,000 gallons (For large pools to ask our laboratory staff for assistance). Both kits contain Shock closure Bear 56, Bear Magnet Teddy Bear and algaecide.

With the filter running, just add 3 chemicals winter (No doubt, in what order). Predissolve Bear Shock 56 by the addition of £ 1 shock 2-3 liters of water. Mix well and add evenly over the surface of the pool. Leave your filter out for at least 2 hours to evenly distribute these products in water.

4. Prepare your computer
Consult the Teddy Bear Pools & Spas About winter to fit your pool equipment. This may involve partial drainage, connecting lines and equipment removal and storage. If used antifreeze to protect your lines from the pool or equipment, be sure to use antifreeze approved for the pool. Do not use automotive anti-freeze.

5. Pool Cover
A well-designed protected to maintain the cover and your pool free of leaves, dirt and other debris during the winter months. Solid covers should be free of holes and held in place security through pipes or cables. Add about 1 inch of water on top of the blanket to help keep pace. Mesh covers can also be used, but allow that rain and some material to enter the pool during the winter.
