Angels concrete statues and ornaments are created using rubber molds. These molds are an effective way to create many things, but are particularly effective when the pouring of concrete.
Rubber or latex molds are used because they reproduce details of a subject to a very high level. Have proved more flexible than any other casting material others, such as plaster, as they are easier to remove the object that has melted.
In terms of production, are very popular because the mold can be used several times in a production cycle.
When it comes to making concrete angels, there are 3 ways to make a rubber mold. Spraying or brushing liquid rubber.
Polyurethane tires that can be brushed, poured or sprayed on a model. They are concrete idea of the angels, because they are easy to use, have good resistance to abrasion, and are relatively cheap. But they can be more adhesive than other rubber types of mold, so it may be difficult to remove from the model.
The model is placed in a containment field and safely. It is then covered with a probation officer, which can be more easily removed from end of the mold. The rubber is poured into the containment area, and then allowed to harden. Finally, finishing the mold away from the model.
Another technique of brushing. Here, the model can be covered with several layers of rubber by brushing it. Letting each dry before applying the next. The same is true when it comes to using a sprinkler to do the same work. They are often used when dealing with large objects. It is often used in churches, where the angels can not move easily or can collapse. The good is that workers can access the model without having to copy it out. Moreover, spray coating, can ensure a more uniform surface than the use a brush. The only drawback is the cost of the pump, which can be expensive.
