Who is the Green Man?
The Green Man is the representation of a face that is covered by leaves. These faces can take several forms, but the most popular examples are found in sculptures and drawings. The leaves change color depending on the season and it is from these leaves are sprouting branches and / or other vegetation types.
The roots of the Green Man
Trying to trace the origins of the Green Man is almost impossible to do. No documentation to show that original symbolic left and if I were still a mystery.

The Green Man in Culture
Different cultures see the Green Man in very different ways. While pagan culture believes that the Green Man, a symbol of life, death and rebirth of other religions are not so good for him. For example, in medieval Christian churches in the Green Man takes on the appearance of the fall suggests a close death. He was considered a demon who represents the "fall" of nature.
