The metal clay is a suspension of tiny particles of metal in a folder of clay that can be used to make jewelry, beads and low scores. Art 650 and Art Clay 650 Slow Dry clay are increasingly popular because not only have more time of work, but can be fired at temperatures as low as 650C/1200F. This allows jewelers to incorporate glass and pure silver in the designs without fear of damaging the components. AIDA, ACS manufacturers also introduced collage oil, a product used only in clay, metal or bleached pulp and silver overlay that is designed to draw designs on glass and porcelain. These two products have enabled the use of metal clay to be incorporated into a new range of designs and means, expanding the potential of this product.
Metal Clay allow jewelers to work with material that is as malleable as clay plain, but produces fine (almost pure) the complexity of silver jewelry and exquisite beauty. When polishing has a sparkle and shine is easily comparable to throw money and product development in the recent years, the withdrawal is now a problem. The type used depends on personal preference, as both types have their advantages, but incorporating metal clay jewelry design gives you a new way to study with good results.
